| While I'm unable to date this with greater accuracy the only King of Saxony named Friedrich August was the one associated with the Napoleonic Wars. This is clearly near the end of his life so I date it roughly in the decade of the 1820s. |
| There is a note in Hennin that indicates that many of these small brass jetons were in fact play money; intended to be given to children. With that in mind I wonder whether this may be a game piece. |
