  This appears to commemorate the re-interment of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette together in 1815.

This is another of a small collection I'm building of Louis XVIII medals dating from the first restoration. Almost all of them are absolutely beautiful, really works of art.

 
I haven't been able to find this particular piece in d'Essling or Bramsen but the evidence suggests that it is contemporary with the date on the medal. Andrieu was active at this time and de Puymauren was the director of the Mint at this time.
