A woman stands holding what appears to be a balance and a sword.
She rests her hand on a temple or an altar. There are three fleur-di-lys at the base of the altar.
Legend,
FÜR DIE GERECHT SACHE
Exergue -
IETTON
Size, 24 mm.
An interesting jeton of apparently the First Restoration period.
Bramsen has a reference that appears to have the same reverse. The obverse
of Bramsen 1541 is of Alexander I of Russia and the reverse is described
as:
Rev:
FÜR DIE GERECHT SACHE. La Justice debout dépose une couronne
sur une pyramide.
Exergue:
IETTON (!)
Jeton, 24 mm. - Inédite; collection de l'Ermitage
